We provide

The foundation’s aim is to provide a better life for those in need. Our activities are aimed at providing assistance, in particular to Ukrainian citizens affected by the war.

We help

LifeLine is a new way of life and perspective for the future. We help people whose fate is hard and without our support, extensive social and business contacts, there are slim chances of treatment. Thanks to the foundation, people can start a new life and, if patients wish, we support them to start a new life by arranging access to education, training and work.

About us

LifeLine provides and finances treatment in Polish medical facilities, as well as it surrounds the patient with full care – from transport to legal support, treatment and organisation of their stay in Poland.

We are a team of people with passion, mission and the essential experience, including the business one. Some of us come from Ukraine. All these factors combined allow us to effectively operate in Poland and Ukraine, providing help and support.

The war in Ukraine has lasted more than a year. During this time, according to UN figures, more than 4,000 people have been killed and more than 5,700 wounded. The LifeLine Foundation focuses primarily on helping soldiers who have been permanently maimed during the heroic battle. Thanks to modern technology and our actions, we can give them hope and the chance to live without limitations.

How we want to help?

To date, there are few organisations in Europe helping those who have been permanently maimed in the course of the ongoing war.

The LifeLine Foundation organises the transport, treatment and stay of patients in Poland. In addition to the prosthetics itself and all the associated tests and treatments, we provide not only rehabilitation, but also constant psychological care. Such wide-ranging assistance and support is extremely important – for the patients, it is a new life, but also a new reality, in which they find themselves more easily thanks to our help.

With whom we work

The whole endeavour is an extremely complex network of contacts and a team of people with big hearts. With full legal support, we are in contact with the affected people and know their current needs. We are cooperating with organisations and foundations on the Ukrainian side, which help us reach out to those in need, as well as with the Ukrainian administration, the Medical Evacuation Coordinator, who works in consultation with the Ministry of Health of Ukraine and the Polish NHF.

In Poland, the foundation works closely with the best medical facilities and recognised orthopaedic specialists. Thanks to our support, Ukrainian heroes receive modern equipment, supplied by a renowned manufacturer of high-end prostheses, made here in Poland.

What is Lorem Ipsum?

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum. Why do we use it?

It is a long established fact that a reader will be distracted by the readable content of a page when looking at its layout. The point of using Lorem Ipsum is that it has a more-or-less normal distribution of letters, as opposed to using ‘Content here, content here’, making it look like readable English. Many desktop publishing packages and web page editors now use Lorem Ipsum as their default model text, and a search for ‘lorem ipsum’ will uncover many web sites still in their infancy. Various versions have evolved over the years, sometimes by accident, sometimes on purpose (injected humour and the like).

Where does it come from?

Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of “de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum” (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, “Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..”, comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

The standard chunk of Lorem Ipsum used since the 1500s is reproduced below for those interested. Sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 from “de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum” by Cicero are also reproduced in their exact original form, accompanied by English versions from the 1914 translation by H. Rackham.
